About

About us

A Harrow firm that works a patch it knows, says where that patch ends, and does not pretend to be the only one in town.

What we are

A removals firm working Harrow and the districts around it. Houses and semis, flats and mansion blocks, man and van, packing, containerised storage, and a European arm covering four destinations.

Our own crews and our own vehicles. Not a national brand with a local landing page, and not a booking platform passing your job to whoever picked up first.

About the other Harrow firm

There are two Harrow removals domains on this network: this one and harrowremovals.uk. Same town, different crews, a different way of presenting the same trade — and we would rather put that on the About page than let you find it out by accident.

If you have already had a survey from them, take their quote. Two proposals from the same family of firms wastes an afternoon and tells you nothing useful.

How we price

Measured volume, access at both ends, how much packing you want done, and distance. Not urgency, not the season, and not what somebody else quoted.

The survey is free and carries no obligation. A video call covers most Harrow addresses; the Hill lanes, mansion flats and anything with a difficult approach are worth an in-person look. The number that comes back is in writing and it holds unless what is coming changes.

The things we will tell you

That a bedroom count is not a volume, and that in Metroland the loft, the garage and the shed are frequently a room between them.

That some Hill lanes will not take a full-size vehicle, and that two runs with a smaller one is the honest answer rather than an upsell.

That your job is really a man and van, when it is — even though the removal would have been the larger invoice.

That Northwood and Edgware have their own coverage on our network, and that a genuinely London-wide move belongs with our pan-London sister sites rather than with us stretching.

The European side

Four destinations rather than a brochure list. France, Spain, Italy and Portugal — enough volume on each that the customs process is familiar rather than looked up when the vehicle is already loaded.

The file is built from the survey inventory. Where a document has to come from you — an NIE, a codice fiscale, a certificado de bagagem — we say so at the start, because those are precisely the parts that cannot be accelerated.

Insurance and conditions

Goods in transit and storage cover are in place, with the usual conditions around owner-packed cartons and items of unusual value. Declare anything genuinely valuable at survey and we confirm in writing what applies before you book.

The full terms are on the terms page rather than buried in a footnote on the quote.

What we do not do

We do not quote before we understand the job. We do not promise a transit time we cannot stand behind. We do not take on a property without establishing that we can physically reach it. And we do not claim awards, accreditations, press coverage or customer numbers we have not got — if it is not on this site, it is because it is not true yet.

Cover

Goods in transit and storage cover are in place, with the usual conditions around owner-packed cartons and items of unusual value. Declare anything genuinely valuable at survey and we will confirm in writing what applies. The contractual position is on the terms page.

Getting hold of us

The quote form is quickest. Contact has the rest, questions covers what comes up first, and areas we cover shows exactly where our ground runs out.

Tell us about the move

Both addresses, what is coming, and your date. We survey, check the access and come back with a written quote.
